There’s one other name you might know me by…
So for my film class I have to write a blog post on one of the films we’ve watched so far so I chose Battleship Potemkin which is a 1925 Russian film. Colton decided he would help me out with my homework and wrote this…
And so the story went, that Hannah, the new Queen of Russia, issued a decree that changed the very foundation of Russia itself. The decree said thusly: All current residents of Russia must destroy their homes immediately, and replace them with houses made of Lego. Now, as I suppose you can imagine, the Russian government was not thrilled by this ruling, but what could the do against the new Queen of Russia? The answer was… nothing, and so all residents of Russia replaced their perfectly good homes made of wood, steel, and brick, with Lego pieces. As one might guess, Legos, while an enjoyable toy for all ages, aren’t exactly best suited for large scale buildings such as homes. Shortly after the decree was issued, peoples houses began to break, and there was widespread panic amongst the Russians.
Yep that sounds about right, it has nothing to do with the film but I got a kick out of it. And it is possible to build a solid house out of legos, it has been done. Plus they can withstand 950 pounds of pressure.
